Sunshine, close racing, and a dominant performance from the NC30 made for a memorable weekend at East Fortune Race Circuit as Hedzup Racing returned from the latest race meeting with five wins and a paddock full of stories.
The headline performance came from rider Calum Pert, who delivered an outstanding clean sweep aboard the NC30, taking four race wins across the weekend. The bike ran faultlessly throughout, rewarding the team’s hard work with a near-perfect set of results and some fiercely competitive racing.
But the fifth win for the entire Hedzup crew came from something nobody can control — the weather.
For a Scottish race weekend, conditions could hardly have been better. Both days were dominated by sunshine, with only a very light drizzle appearing briefly on Sunday morning before quickly clearing away. The dry track and warm conditions helped create a brilliant atmosphere around the paddock, with strong crowds and plenty of track action throughout the meeting.
Away from the racing itself, one of the standout moments of the weekend came on Friday evening when racing legends Ian Pert and Calum joined Dom on stage for a packed and entertaining Isle of Man TT stories session. The conversation brought together decades of road racing experience, paddock humour, and behind-the-scenes tales from the Mountain Course, giving everyone in attendance a glimpse into the unique world of TT racing and Hedzup.
The results on track were backed up by the outstanding effort of the entire Hedzup crew throughout the weekend. Behind every session was a constant flow of preparation, checks, adjustments, tyre changes, refuelling, and late-night work to keep the bikes performing flawlessly across both days. The atmosphere in the paddock reflected exactly what club racing should be — teamwork, support, and people pulling together under pressure while still enjoying every minute of it.
A special mention also goes to Mia, who spent the weekend working as a marshal and received excellent feedback from the organisers for both her enthusiasm and professional conduct throughout the event. Her attitude, energy, and willingness to help wherever needed reflected brilliantly not only on herself, but on the wider Hedzup team as well.
From hard racing on track to stories off it, East Fortune reminded everyone why club racing weekends still carry something special — good people, proper racing, and the shared passion that keeps the sport alive.
Hedzup Racing now heads into the next round with momentum firmly on its side after a weekend that delivered results, memories, and a reminder that sometimes everything just comes together perfectly.
