To date we have successfully confirmed over 60 youths obtaining full time employment having completed our construction skills programmes.
One of our most successful courses developing employable skills for youths has been our construction skills programme aiming to have youths complete their Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
Run along with Discover Work Service at Dundee Council, and thanks to the involvement of Ewan Begg of JB SAFESITE we deliver the health and safety certificate as part of this course.
Holders of a valid CSCS have shown that they have the necessary training and qualifications to work on construction sites and carry out the work in a safe manner. It shows that skills are certified and is quick way for employers to check competence. The card is valid for 5 years.
